I have created a drop down question in Quizmaker 13 with 4 options, but when I drag an option to the drop picture, the dragged question does not disappear but stays on the screen. How can I get the dragged questions to disappear when dropped?
Could you clarify what quiz type you're using please? Is it a graded Drop-Down type quiz, or a freeform Drag-and-Drop?
There are a few different types that you might be referring to. If you could let us know which one, specifically, you're using, that would help us determine if there are some options for hiding the questions after they've been selected or dropped.
Good question Christine! I am using the freeform Drag-and-Drop question. There are 4 drag targets and 4 drop targets with only 1 correct answer for each item. Thanks in advance!
In Quizmaker '13, it's not possible to hide the answers that have been dropped on a target. You can offset the objects by using the "Stack Offset" option in Form View under Drop Target Options.
That option may help if the answers you have are covering up the targets in your drag-and-drop project.
Now, in Storyline, it is possible to do this. Storyline comes with options for states and it is possible to trigger an object (either a normal object or an interaction/quiz object) to change to a hidden state. If this is something you absolutely need to use in your project, I'd recommend using the free 30 day trial to see if this might be an option you'd like to use.
