Feedback formatting

Hi Des, 

Are you able to update the feedback font sizing once you copy and paste in, or does it look like it's all going to match? It sounds odd that only 2 out of the 5 is having odd sizing for the feedback, so first you'll want to confirm that you're working with local project files, as working on a network or USB drive can cause erratic behavior.  If you're still having difficulty, are you able to share the .quiz file with us here? If you'd prefer to share privately you're welcome to send along to us here. 

Thanks for the reply Ashley.  I'm working off a hard drive.  I have seen your reply to Alison Ludwig, who seems to have struck the same problem I have encountered since my posting, and have been experimenting with what you have said to her as well.  I give a lot of feedback in my QM09 projects - this one and others - and am frankly becoming a little concerned if the text box in the feedback layout cannot be expanded beyond what I'm currently achieving ie just a few lines.  I agree with Alison that a scroll box where only a few lines show at a time isn't a good enough fix. That is an unfortunate design feature in this version not in QM09.  Also, I'm finding I can't insert a new paragraph in feedback on a survey - I think that is also unfortunate.

Yes, that's the thread I'm talking about. I have tried enlarging the feedback box as Bernard suggested and it does not work for me - no matter how large I make the feedback box and the text box within it, the size of the text does not change from the shrinked text I get when I import from QM09 or try to insert text longer than the standard 5-6 lines. Is there a step I am missing?  I could do a work around with the branching feature but it will take so much time (my projects in QM09 are very big with 180+ questions) so I would prefer not to do that if possible. I am happy to take up Ashley's invitation to upload to the private space if need be - I do adore the other new changes to QM13 (as I said I was a great fan and advocate of QM09).

Have you used the scrolling panel feature? That was the update within Quizmaker 13 to allow for longer feedback and to not shrink the text. I think Leslie's suggestion of submitting a feature request regarding further customizations to the feedback sections.  

Thanks for the great support guys.  I've been able at last to achieve what Bernard suggested not only by using the Feedback master but also by using the slide view for each slide with a longer answer. All is good now!
