Hi, I have recently been using articulate to make quizzes. I really enjoy the Question bank tool, but every time I try to assign a question bank that includes a fill-in-the-blank question articulate gives me an error. The error says " question banks may not contain draw from bank slides. Is there anyway to fix this or is it just not feasible to include those types of questions in question banks?
To create the error I created a question bank in quizmaker. After making the question bank I added a mixture of T/F, Multiple Choice, and a fill-in the blank question. I then created a new slide in story view and tried to assign "draw random question" from the bank that I created, but unless I remove the fill-in-the-blank question from the bank, it will not allow me to use the question bank on the slide. Instead it states the error as listed above.
Perhaps share what software you are actually using. I just noticed that you are posting in the Quizmaker forum, but you mention Storyview, which is a Storyline feature, so I utilized Storyline 2. Sounds like you may actually be a Quizmaker user?

Hi G! I'm not sure I'm following the error you are reporting. Can you tell me how to re-create the error?

Hi G!
I'm not seeing the issue that you are reporting.
I've attached my file.
Does this issue happen if you try to utilize a new file?
It says the file cannot be opened. Could this be due to the fact that I am using the free trial? Or maybe my version is slightly outdated?

I am using the quizmaker function in articulate storyline if that makes sense?
Are you utilizing Storyline 1 or Storyline 2? The file I shared was for Storyline 2.
Storyline 1
Well that was probably why you could not open the file.
I am still unable to re-create the issue that you are mentioning. New file for SL1 attached.
Please be sure that you are working locally and you may need to conduct a repair of your software.
