Finish button won't appear in Quizmaker - help!
Jan 25, 2012
Does anyone know how to get the Finish button to appear in Quizmaker when the learner gives an incorrect answer? I'm using the quiz for reflective questions so ideally want the learner to be able to try the quiz as many times as possible, but also to be able to exit (by clicking Finish) if they have answered incorrectly and just want to continue.
I've tried changing the number of attempts from unlimited to one, but this doesn't seem to make a difference. The Finish button only appears when the correct answers is selected.
Many thanks!

Hey Ange!
Would setting your quiz to Submit all at once, and allowing the user to finish without answering all questions be good for your needs, or are you hoping to give feedback after each question?
Thanks Peter - unfortunately when I do this, the quiz closes down as soon as the user clicks submit, without allowing me the opportunity to give feedback, or for them to try again. Also, the next and previous buttons appear, even though there is only 1 question in the quiz!
I've seen it done before but am now driving myself crazy trying to figure it out!
Just curious...what happens when you hit the next button?
Heidi - It asks if I want to submit all at once (even though there is only 1 question).
Ange,
Try this. In the "results" section, select both "pass result" and "fail result" and make sure "display passing result slide" and "display failing result slide" are checked.
This might give you what you are used to seeing.
