How do I access and edit the screenview for Quiz Review in Quizmak

Jul 06, 2011

I recently created a quiz that has a mostly black background and white fonts along with some graphics.  When someone was reviewing my course for me they noticed that when looking at the quiz in review mode, the answer was in gray against the black background which made it hard to read.  It also was on top of (or under) the question text.  Is there a way to edit how the answers will display when reviewed (both color and location on the screen)?  Thanks!

Hi Joyce and welcome to Heroes,

Regarding the color of the text, you can use this method to fix it:

1. Open your question

2. Click on Slide View

3. Click the Design tab

4. Select the Colors button

5. Click Create New Theme Colors

6. Change the Text/Background - Dark 1 to the color that you prefer

7. Click the Save button

8. Republish your quiz

You won't able to change the location of the answer, but you can widen the answer box so that all of the text is on the same line.  Then, I'd go into slide view & decrease the width of the text box that contains "the exception is when the household...."

Thanks for the suggestion.  I was able to move the answer text to a better location, but unless I want to change the entire course to a different color, I can't change the "answer text".   Changing "Dark 1" to something lighter changes my entire course to the lighter color and didn't result in a lighter color text for the answer, but... if they look really hard they may be able to see it next to the green check mark.
