How to display Score so far

Jan 13, 2014

Hi there!

Is there any way to display Score so far as in the older version of Quizmaker and also how many questions are left for the student to answer?

Can the program number the questions automatically in the question list instead of doing it manually?

Thanks

Hi Galya,

You're referring to the question numbers that displayed in Quizmaker '09 quizzes, correct? If so, this option was not included with the new Quizmaker '13. Also, the cumulative score display is only an option in '09.

The closest option would be to use the "Question List" option that you mentioned in the Quizmaker '13 player options. This will not number the questions, but it will give learners a better idea of where they are and how many questions there are in the quiz.

Another option would be to modify the name of the question to include a number. Of course, if you're randomizing questions, this probably won't work for your project.

If you'd like to see additional options in Quizmaker '13, please let our development team know.

This is a very popular request at the moment and we are reviewing the information that customers are sharing. Please try to be as detailed as possible when sharing your suggestion. This will help us determine the usefulness of the feature, as well as gauge demand for the functionality.

Hi Christine, I would like to support the bove request to reinclude the running/total number of questions somewhere within the frame of the QM13 player. This selectable feature was already developed in QM09 and found useful !!  Your suggestion with displaying Question List is reasonable in relatively short quizzes. When using quizzes of 100 and more questions, tracking student"s actual position within the quiz would be very distracting and time consuming activity during a time limited exam.

Thanks.

Hi there Dimitrolos,

Thanks very much for sharing your feedback here on the forums!

It's certainly a pretty popular request at the moment. If you haven't already, please take a moment to share this suggestion with our development team using the link I provided in my earlier response.

I know these requests are being heard - the more we see the better! :)

Thanks again and have a great day,

Christine
