I've been reading a lot about gamification in e-learning and it sounds like a good way to keep learners interested. Can anyone give me some advice on how to quickly turn my multiple choice quiz into a "gamified" quiz? I'm at a loss at where to start...
Gamification has definitely a buzzword these past few years! If you didn't already come across it in your research, this article may help you get started. Here is link to an older thread dedicated to gamification that you may want to check out.
I think the main thing to keep in mind is that "gamification" doesn't equal "full on game." You can incorporate game-like elements (decision-making, dynamic feedback, etc) without spending tons of time and money on development.
Does anyone have any examples of gamified quizzes made with quizmaker they'd be willing (and able) to share?
I'm currently working on a new template for quiz gamification for a presentation at TechKnowledge in January. Once I've completed it, I'll share it here.
Also, here is a trivia game template that I created. This has some gamification elements, which can be used for a quiz. Let me know if you have any questions. THANKS!
Recently I worked on creating a Family Feud-Styled quiz which usually works for questions with multiple correct answers (if you are familiar with the game). However, I'm adding a modified template here with slides for 4, 3 and 1 correct answers. So, technically this can be used as a quiz. I would recommend replacing the Family Feud backgrounds and audio for licensing purposes.
Does anyone have an action themed template? trying to build a superhero and villain class. wanted each of the scenarios to be a battle between the hero and villain, with the hero winning upon correct response from the learner.

Thanks Tim, that is really helpful.
I look forward to seeing your new template, Tim! :)
Thanks for the examples, Ankit! They have given me some good ideas.

Hi Alexander,
Thanks for sharing that, but unfortunately I don't understand how to open it and use it. Can you explain that to me?
Thanks!
Hi Brian, are you saying you can't open it in StoryLine?
If you can, I added instructions on the slide notes of the first question slide.
I will contact you later as well.

I don't see a Storyline file when I download the package. Am I missing something?
Brian, are you working with SL1 or 2?
This was developed on SL2.
Anyway, once I get home this PM I'll upload it again.

Hello Brian, you can check out this app SpyD on google play store or ios store for making a gamified quiz. The basic version is free.
