HTML5 scorm interactions in Quizmaker13

Jul 24, 2014

We are trying to record scorm 2004 interaction data with our quizmaker13 exam. It is outputted to both Flash and HTML5. We can track the interactions just fine when the exam is using the flash piece to our LMS. But when the exam is running the HTML5 version it sends no interactions to the LMS. Is there support for sending interactions to the LMS in the HTML5 version of exams done in quizmaker13? I can see that it does send other SCORM2004 data such as cmi.completion_status and cmi.success_status.

Any help would be appreciated.

Yes we are sharing the quiz.html file. I have also uploaded the quiz to scorm.cloud for testing. When the quiz is taken with the html5 versions scorm cloud does not record those interactions. When the quiz is taken with the flash turned on/enabled it records those interactions just fine. Seems like there is a bug in quizmaker13. Or an option that we are just missing.

Hello,

We are having a very similar issue with our HTML5 exams, but it is only happening some of the time. Sometimes we will have an exam report without interactions, or answers come down as "undefined", but the user will still receive a 100%. Other times it works perfectly, the interactions and grade report just fine. This has only been an issue since switching to HTML5 via Quizmaker '13. We are not experiencing the issue in Quizmaker '09 with flash versions.

If either of you come up with an answer for Gregory's issue, would you mind posting it here? I'm not sure if my issue is exactly the same, but any insight might help.

Thanks!

Melanie

An update on this. We have determined if you set the quiz to submit one answer at a time the interactions report correctly in both Flash and HTML5.

But if you have the Submit all answers option checked it does not work correctly in HTML5. So that is maybe why Melanie Muto had sporadic issues. But still doesn't solve the overall problem because we want to submit all answers at one time.

Player > Features Tab > [Answer Submission] - Submitone question at a time (this works)
