Is there a reason a Quizmaker '13 quiz would not work on an iPad?

I have a number of quizzes on my website, created using Quizmaker '13.  I've tested them on all my PC browsers, but someone has tried the quizzed on two iPads and they are not working.  He says:

it comes up as launch then message says cannot access content- articulate mobileplayer cannot access this content- initially it had get the free articulate mobile player app which I loaded.

Now, I don't have an ipad, so can't see this for myself.  Anyone come across this problem before, and if so, is there a workaround?  Any help or advice very much appreciated!
