For some reason when clicking the "next" button the quiz will automatically go back to a previous slide and not allow me to move forward. I am caught in this never ending cycle of viewing the same 3 slides over and over again.
Sorry you're having issues. Can you provide us with a bit more information about your project?
- Are you using Quizmaker '09 or '13?
- Is it a stand-alone quiz or did you insert it into a Presenter project? If it is in a Presenter project, you may want to check the Slide Properties to see if you haven't accidentally changed the branching options.
If you could provide a screenshot, it may be easier for us to understand what is happening.
A brief video plays in Q 1.7 than goes onto Q 1.8 and then Q 1.10 just fine but when clicking the “next” button in Q 1.10 it immediately takes me back to Q 1.7 and I am caught in this never ending cycle of these 3 slides playing over and over again. The quiz was originally created in ’09 but was converted to ’13 after purchasing the updated version.
Unfortunately I cannot view the image that you attached, it opens up a new message when I click on it. From what you're saying, it sounds like there is a branching problem. I would open each question and look at the branching options:
