I have a custom template / theme that I am using in PPT as the basis for my course. How can I get these themes / colors to apply to Quizmaker and Engage? For example, I have a set of Theme Colors that came with the PPT template I downloaded. Those theme colors are not available as a set in Quizmaster or Engage. How do I make this work? I've been looking for days...
I don't believe you'll be able to pull color themes or templates from a PowerPoint file into Engage or Quizmaker. There are some tips that may make this easier for you, however. If you haven't already, take a look at the thread below:
That was incredibly helpful. For future searchers, here's the summary of what I learned to do through those links - there are some helpful videos worth watching:
1. Saved my PPt template as a jpg (I did an F5 full-screen view of a blank slide and used the snipping tool to capture and save it though Print Screen would work just as well).
2. Made this the background to my quiz.
3. Under Player Templates in Quizmaker, I created a new template called "Transparent". I unclicked all the layout options, then went to colors & effects. There I created a new color scheme called "Transparent". For all of the Frame options, I set the colors to 100% transparent. Result below!
