missing link in Articulate Product Support from product

There is no link from the product licence activation screen to a contact/dialogue box where I can request to have the product activitated.

I am in a corporate in Australia and we are using licensed software (the entire 09 Suite).

As staff come and go, the licence has to be reissued to new machines.

I am a new staff member.

I definitely have a licence number and a serial number but no activation code to activate either Quizmaker or Engage.

The blue hyperlink titled 'Contact Articulate Support to get an activation code' which is in the licence activation screen doesn't redirect to an appropriate web page.  It simply redirects to the articulate website home page.

I have had to scrawl all around the Articulate website to try and find a dialogue/contact function (all I can see is promotion of Articulate and FAQs).  This forum is the only place where I can report that I want the activation code.

I want this link fault rectified asap and I want to be able to communicate effectively about getting the products activated against their respective licence numbers and serial numbers.

Hi Smarten Up- Industrial Designer,

We had to re-install and revalidate & activate licence keys when we upgraded all of our development computers.

If we had an issue with the licence key( yes we had some) we just sent a message to Articulate support, within the hour we received the necessary activation key(s) and could get on with our business.

The absence of a key doesn't revent you from working, ( The trial version lasts 30 days)

Regarding the link you want to get fixed, I suggest you also send a message to Articulate and surely they will attend to it our give you a work-around if one exists.

You can contact the support team here, and they'll get you up and running.

thanks Geert. I will fill in the 'Support' case form that you kindly connected me with.  

However, the link should be working for the benefit of everyone who has the popup box appear on their screen -  this includes people who have used the trial version and need to upgrade to a licensed version, as well as people who already have a license but need it extended to new computers/users, or people who are uninstalling/reinstalling software such as you did.

It seems really odd to me that there is a directive in the popup that tells the customer to ask for an activation code, yet the link behind that directive is not working.

Sorry for the trouble you're having. I'm wondering if you've had a chance to open a case with our support team yet? We'd not only be eager to help get your products' serial numbers squared away and up and running, but we'd also like to know more about the bad link you mentioned. No, haven't heard anything from your Support team after logging two requests, one for activation of Quizmaker 09 and one for activation of Engage 09.

It's been about 8 hrs since the jobs were logged.

Now need to fire off another ..... Presenter 09 ribbon disabled (had to disable ... crashed while doing a simple audio edit on a slide).

They'll probably have to send me a new download and activation code.

Slow progress on my authoring ...
