You could place a text-input box on the slide with a multiple-choice question. But the standard Submit button is only programmed to look at the multiple-choice responses. So you'd have to add your own programming to accomplish whatever it is you want to accomplish by combining multiple choice and text entry.

Hi Robert,
In Quizmaker the answer is No. Each question type is a separate entity and you can't combine them.
Judy's answer would work in Storyline but Quizmaker doesn't have the functionality to add text entry fields outside of a text entry based question.
