Multiple Quiz

Apr 08, 2011

I created two quizes, and when published it only see one of them.  In the previous version, I had no problem - now it only see's only one of them. I set up random, ALL but that's all I get.  (Even in Preview) what am I doing wrong?

Yes, I don't understand what is happen.  This presentation was created over a year ago, previous version.  I had to go back to the file and fix problems with the question.

The presentation has about 12 questions throughout the presentation, several have two which should be joined  - none of the second works.

At the end, I created a Random (about 30 questions) and only 10 - this one works great.

Also, noticed each time I work - articulate is creating a -----old.ppta, old1.ppta, old2.ppta - (the file is big 150,850 kb (what's going on).?

Thanks -

This article explains why we create old PPTA files:

So if you can straighten out the directory structure. That would probably fix the issue. This is what I would do if I were you. See the instructions for creating a Presenter package here:

http://www.articulate.com/support/presenter09/?p=457

Now once you do that you have a zip file. Copy the zip file to a new folder on your C: drive like C:\Articulate.

Quit out of PowerPoint and unzip that file in its new folder by right clicking it and selecting Extract.

Now you should have a clean directory to work with. Launch the PowerPoint file and see if you can figure out what's up with your quizzes. If you can locate the original .QUIZ files you should just be able to remove the quizzes and reinsert them.

I would suggest you submit a case by following the steps below.

Please create an Articulate Presenter package, then upload the zip file to our server. You can review how to do this here:

http://www.articulate.com/support/presenter09/?p=457

Upload the resulting zip file from your computer to our server using this upload form:

Please be sure to include a description of your issue, your version of PowerPoint, version of Windows and version of Presenter '09 which you can find in Help and Support -> About Articulate Presenter. Please also include the URL for this thread so we can follow up with you in the forums.
