Ongoing Quizmaker issues

Feb 13, 2014

Hi,

I'm having ongoing issues and I'm wondering if it is the difference between a quick fix and a re-install.

Quizzes do not save for me.  I have had to re-do many of them.  I build a quiz, publish it to a power point and if I go back to update I get a "file not found" message.

I often have issues publishing to a word doc.

Anyone with any insight I would appreciate this as I am fairly new to the software and am not sure if it's user error or not installed correctly.

Thanks!

Hi Heather!

First of all, be sure that when creating, editing, and publishing Articulate Presenter '13 courses, be sure you're working on your local hard drive (typically your C: drive). Working on a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior, such as file corruption, an inability to save changes, and loss of resources. See this article for more information.

You can try to do a repair of your software, which is a first step, but if this doesn't work, then we suggest a more detailed approach which includes an uninstall/reinstall.

I cannot create new quizzes.  I have to use a template of another quiz to build a quiz.  If the new quiz has more answers, I'm unable to put in anything. (For example, a multiple response question in the older quiz had 3 possible answers, the new quiz has four...I can only enter three)

I cannot create a new question in the quiz either.

The quizzes are still not saving properly to my desktop or share drives.

Maybe I need to reinstall?

Sounds good Heather, I think we've come full circle:
