Only allow 3 drag objects in a drop target

I know that you can set it up for a single object to be dropped in a target area, causing an object to automatically go back to its original position if another object is dropped on the target. What I want to do is allow only 3 drag objects (out of 5) to to stay in the drop target. So, if I dropped 3 objects in the drop target area and they are tiled in the object and I try to drop a fourth object on the target area, one of the previous 3 objects jumps out of the target area back to its start position.

Is this do-able?
