Since the report.html file opens in a new window, it's likely that the machine is blocking pop up windows. Can you ensure that the browser on the other machine is not blocking pop ups?
We had something very similar on a group of quizzes we were using. If we published it using the web option (that just gives the html tag to open), we were getting stuck in the exact place you described. We changed our publish settings to publish to CD, so we created the launch player.exe file. So far (knock on wood) that's worked fine. The users have to punch through a couple of warnings about bad-bad exe files, but the print functionality works well.
