I have created a quiz that incorporates blank slides as well as question slides. I went in and customized some of the quiz labels and have published the quiz. After the learner clicks the next button, the submit button displays very briefly, almost a quick toggle. Does anyone have a suggested fix?
If you continue to have issues after installing the latest version, use the workaround below:
1. Open the Quizmaker Player Templates --> Edit... button --> Colors and Effects
2. Select the 'Edit...' button next to the Color scheme dropdown
3. Under the 'Choose an item to edit' dropdown select Text --> Text1 and set the Transparency to 50%
4. OK to save the changes and or name the new color template.
5. Publish and or preview the quiz.
Note: By adjusting the transparency for the Text1 option in the color scheme, other quiz elements that rely on this will be affected as well; this includes all of the buttons used in the published quiz.

how can I delete the "submit" button in order to register the answer automatically? my users find it hard to click the correct answer and then click the "submit" (or they forget).
May be you could use the Submit All at Once template in Quizmaker to do this.
But even when using this, the users will have to click on the Next button after answering one question. I dont think you can have an option where the next question automatically comes when the users select an answer. Because, in the case of multiple choice questions, there is no option for the system to know when the users have finished selecting their answers.

Hi Linda & welcome to Heroes,
Are you using the latest version of Quizmaker '09? In Update 5, we addressed a similar issue:

Thanks for your prompt response. I am checking with IT to ensure that all updates have been installed.
Hi Brian,
I checked with IT and they say I have the most up-to-date version of Articulate installed. Attached is a screeshot of About Articulate.
Would it be possible to send you the actual quiz and have you take a look at it to see the issue I have and perhaps help me resolve?

Yes, and I still see the issue. Is there a way I can send you the file?
Hi Linda,
Yes, you can upload the file to me here:

Sorry for this big delay. I've been lost between many answers. I will try to check it and get back to you.
