Information on a blank slide sounds just like what I'm looking for. Unfortunately I really need to figure out a way to do this via xls upload, since this is part of a business process I'm trying to make as efficient as possible. I need to be able to make many many quizzes that may be quite long in a short period of time, so any need to manually modify slides will create a significant bottleneck.

Hello Tristan,
I cannot say that I have done it, but then again, I haven't seen this question before.
The spreadsheet template will allow you to import many question types directly into Quizmaker '13 as you can see in this documentation.
I'm not sure what 'general data' you are referring to.
Are you looking to add information on a blank slide vs a question slide? You may want to utilize copy/paste for that.
If someone in the community has some experience to share, I hope they chime in to help :)
