Quiz Settings

Nov 20, 2013

We do not use the side bar/ panel menu when publishing quizzes. As in Studio 9, there was a setting to show how many questions a user has completed out of the total.

Such as, user is on question 9 of 30.

It seems in Studio 13 this setting/ option has been removed.

Is there a way to add a line of code or insert so that our user can see which question they are on? When publishing 100 question exams, it becomes key for users to know where they stand.

Hello Ashley,

Thank you for getting back to me.

Now, not to be a pain but, I am not sure why this would be considered as a feature request in the first place, as this was/is a functionality that was incorporated in Studio 09; not sure why it was stripped from Studio 13.

New products are suppose to enhance older versions and build upon fundamental building blocks, but we have noticed that some key functions have not been incorporated into Studio '13 and curious as to why?

Thanks,

Ashley Terwilliger-Pollard

Hi Matt,

Previously it was an element of the player, and the entire player was redesigned in Studio 13. I don't know it the reasoning behind why it wasn't included in the Studio 13 player, but thats why it's helpful to have users submit feature requests, so that our development team can see what features or items are vital to our community.
