I have a quiz of with a pool of135 questions that are split into 3 question groups based on topic. I'm trying to get it to pull 100 unique questions, but quizmaker '13 is pulling many repeated questions each time. What settings do I need to change to make this work correctly?
Thanks for the reply. The questions are split up into different question groups, however Quizmaker continues to pull the same question multiple times from the individual groups.
Group A - 35 questions needed, 45 questions in the pool
Group B - 45 questions needed, 55 questions in the pool
Group C - 20 questions needed, 35 questions in the pool.
Even within the groups questions are appearing more than once. Is there a setting or work around for this?
Here is the quizmaker file. I found a "work around" by locking many of the questions and only leaving a few open but it doesn't work 100% as some questions still repeat every so often.

If you are utilizing the same question pool for each of the groups, then yes, this would be the expected behavior and hence is random.
You would need to split your question pool up if you want true question 'groups' available. Your learner is not aware of the question groupings.

I took a sample of your course and tried to re-create. I thought I finally did, but alas, the question is duplicated in the group as well.
Q1.13 and Q1.20 is the only one I saw twice.
Do you see the same behavior in this sample attached?
