Resizing multiple choice answer text box(es)

Jul 11, 2016

I have created a multiple choice question with five answers, and I would like the answers to be easier to read and fill more of the slide. (I would like to change the font size and color as well.)

Is there a way to enlarge each of the answers and/or the text boxes they are in while still keeping them aligned and consistently spaced in relation to each other?

As my attachment shows, trying to edit and move them individually doesn’t seem to work real well…

Thanks.

I have solved part of my problem.  A fourth listening to the tutorial finally helped me understand the behavior and restrictions of the "question bounding box."

However, i am still wondering if there is some functionality in that box that automatically will distribute and even up the spacing between answers (like the spacing control in the Office paragraph scroll)

Hi, Jim -- Thanks for reaching out and glad to hear you've solved part of your issue! As you mentioned an attachment, I wanted to stop in to note that it looks like it did not come through successfully. If you would still like to resend, please use the grey ADD ATTACHMENT button in the bottom left of the reply box and you should be able to to browse from there.

Thank you for the response, Christie.  I removed the previous attachment because it showed the part of the problem I solved.

What I am still trying to do, if possible, is consistently resize the height of each of the individual text (answer) boxes that are in the bounding box. Alternatively, maybe I could increase the spacing between them - I think the effect would be the same.

I have added new attachments; the first shows the page created by Quizmaker; the second attachment shows the answers spread out to better fill the page, which I did manually. Is there a way to create the look of the second page without individually moving each of the answers while trying to keep them spaced consistently?

Hi, Jim -- I reached out to some of my colleagues for their insights, and it was suggested that you right click/format shape, and you will be able to set the internal margins for the text boxes. Then, double click the format painter icon to apply the style to everything you click. Hope that helps, or perhaps others will have some additional ideas to assist!
