We have a SumTotal LMS, and use Articulate 13 Suite to create the majority of our WBTs.
We have a driving business need to retrieve Survey answers from the LMS, but so far have been unsuccessful.
Our LMS Admin is telling us that the only way to report out answers from the LMS is to have the completion be controlled by passing the Quiz instead of completion of slides. But you cant 'pass' a survey, since the answers are not graded.
Any thoughts, suggestions, solutions, prayers are welcome.
You are able to add graded questions to a survey and track the quiz using the results of the questions that are graded. I am not sure if this will allow your LMS to gather the data sent for the survey questions but you could try something like creating a simple Yes/No question at the end of the survey. You could even adjust the points for incorrect to match the points of the correct so it doesn't matter what they select. Then track the quiz by the quiz results. Provided they answer that last question, they should receive a 100% and that should be reported to the LMS. Hopefully SumTotal would be able to get the survey data at that point.
Under Home -> Edit Result you could customize the results slide so that it does not display any scoring and remove most of the Success Options.
