My company currently is using Storyline 2 to create our online training courses. It is my understanding that Storyline 2 will not indicate, or allow us to view the users incorrect answers when reporting quiz results. Does Articulate Quizmaker have that functionality? Our current LMS will allow us to view this information, but is not mobile compatible. We are looking for a mobile solution that will allow us to view the users incorrect answers.
Hi Leslie, than you for your response. What we are trying to do is get results per question from each learner. For instance...we have a multiple choice quiz- a, b, and c as choices. John misses chooses a, but it's incorrect. On the reporting end, we would like to know that John missed a.
No matter the SCORM setting we choose (2004 ed 2,3,4 or Tin Can API) in Storyline 2 for quiz settings, I do not see that option. Any ideas? I attached the reporting screen that I am referring to.
You'll need to track by the results slide vs. slides viewed and then I believe it'll need to be SCORM 2004 (not sure if it's a particular edition) that'll report what the user selected as their answer as a part of the SCORM tracking. It'll be up to your LMS if they're able to report on that behavior though - so you'll want to make sure you double check with them. You could also look at testing in SCORM Cloud as it's an industry standard for testing SCORM content.
If yowl at the link Ashley posted it shows that the response either correct or incorrect is sent (under student response.. It shouldn't matter if it is 1.2 or 2004. I would check this in scormcloud and you should see the incorrect responses in the reports.
I have seen this data in both scormcloud and Mooddle but some LMSs just do not have that granularity of data.

Storyline will send the user response to the LMS it depends on your LMS if that can be coated in a report
Hi Sean!
This article describes the quiz data that Articulate Storyline communicates to learning management systems (LMSs) for SCORM and AICC content.

Hi Phil, thank you for responding. I am not sure it is on our LMS end as much as it is a Storyline 2 SCORM setting.

Thanks for your input, Phil! Please let us know if that helps, Sean, or if you still need additional assistance. :)
Ashley, Phil and Christie - Looks like we figured it out. All your input has helped. Thank you!
I left Leslie out. Thanks, Leslie!
Excellent news, Sean! Thanks so much for sharing an update and you're welcome to let us know what did the trick for you if you wish! :)
It was a limitation of our LMS. I tested it on SCORM cloud and the data was there. We published in 2004 3rd Ed.
Thanks, Sean -- we appreciate the additional info and are so glad you're all set!
No worries Sean! Glad to hear you were able to get this sorted :)
