Text dissapears when publishing, previewing or playing in timeline

Greetings,

I am building out my first Quiz with Articulate Quizmaker, and I am having an issue with text (any/all text) dissappearing when I am previewing, playing back in the timeline, or publishing. I have changed the text types away from Articulate fonts to see if this fixes the issue, and I have grouped text boxes with other object to see if this solves the issues (as it does with Presenter in PowerPoint 2010). I have also previewed and published the quiz in my ppt presentaion, with no result/improvement.

Has this issue arisen in the past, and if so, what are the steps to solve this issue?

TO ADD: Buttons are also dissappearing during timeline playback, previews, and publish, and the layers are visible on the timeline.
