Want letter buttons instead of radio buttons

Oct 05, 2012

Having trouble figuring out how to display letter buttons (a, b, c, d, etc...) for test takers to choose from rather than  radio buttons so when I export the output is listed as they chose either a, b, c, or d instead of the entire question being written out. Does quizmaker have this functionality?

Hey Drea, currently there isn't a feature in Quizmaker which allows you to apply automatic numbering or lettering to your answer choices. It sounds like you're creating multiple choice questions? You can definitely just use A, B, C, D, etc for the actual text of your answer choices, and then you'll also want to turn answer shuffling off so that the choices don't end up displaying in a scrambled order. Also, what you might consider doing, if you have a lot of the same kind of question to create, is build the first one and then from the question list you can right-click the question and choose Duplicate Question as many times as you need. Then just modify the question text accordingly for each question. Does that help?
