3 modules within one module.

Jul 02, 2014

Hi guys, everyones been really helpful and have replied to my previous questions quickly so i first want to say a big thanks.

I have just finished making the first of 3 modules for a client. However the client wants all 3 modules within one universal module, so the user will be able to choose which section to view when they get to the opening home screen. The concern i have is this:

1. Is there a way to have a quiz at the end of each section of the module i.e. choose which questions the result slide reviews and relays back to the client. I have only ever had questions throughout the module and then the result slide upon completion, I'm a bit unsure how this will work when there are 3 separate section each with there own question and results slide.

2. If the 3 are combined into one module, there will be around 200 slides - is the load time dependant upon the content (I don't want a 10 second load time upon opening up the module).

Thanks, Leo

Hi Leo,

There are a lot of discussions on this and a lot of different methods, but it really comes down to the best option for you and your client.

Personally? I would create a "starter" slide that opens 3 layers. On those 3 layers, insert the published and uploaded courses as web objects. Learners could go through each course and complete them, and submit their courses.

This would certainly make the course run faster, if you're concerned with delays or file sizes, and ensure that all 3 quizzes report the same way they're already reporting as standalone courses.

Just a thought I wanted so share, in case it helps :)

Best of luck!
