I have 3 numeric fields and each one of them accepts several correct answers, say: 66, 66.66, 67 for numeric field 1 and 133, 133.33 and 134 for numeric field 2. I want a single correct or incorrect feedback.
I have set my trigger like this:
Show layer correct when user clicks rectangle 1 on condition:
numericEntry 1==66
OR numericEntry 1== 66.66
OR numericEntry 1== 67
AND numericEntry 2==133
OR numericEntry 2== 133.33
OR numericEntry 2== 134
It doesn't work. The AND/OR doesn't allow us to have (...) so that it works per entry field. Any thoughts?
Take a look at the second video in this tutorial on how to evaluate multiple fields on the same slide with multiple possible correct answers. Even though Storyline 1 was used in this tutorial, this method can be done with any version of Storyline.
Give it a go, and let me know if it works for you!
I will. Because it's very annoying. I had the same issue again after I managed the different answers. I just fixed it by cheating, but it would have been much faster with the brackets ;-)

Hello Helene!

Oh, of course, using variables, I should have thought about it!
That would be cool to have this simple feature to group conditions though in the triggers ;-)
Thank you Alyssa!
Absolutely! Would you mind sharing your idea with our product development team in the form of a feature request?
I will. Because it's very annoying. I had the same issue again after I managed the different answers. I just fixed it by cheating, but it would have been much faster with the brackets ;-)
Agreed - thanks for taking the time to submit the request!
