accesible text

Jun 12, 2022

hi everyone!

I'm building a course and one of the demands for it is for the text to be accesible - so users can highlight and select it while reading (like in a regular web page).

unfortunately, the accesible text veraible does not enable this action on published versions. do you guys know of any way to do it? maybe a js code?

thanks in advance,

neomi

Hello Neomi!

If you're interested in making the text of your courses accessible, you can check out this guide which explains the accessible text feature in Storyline 360:

Storyline 360: Accessible Text

You mentioned an accessible text variable not properly working in your course, would you mind providing us with more details regarding this? Is there something in your course that is not working properly?

Thanks for the update. The ability to copy text from published Storyline 360 courses is not supported. If you need to provide a copy of your course's text to your learners, you can export a translation file and distribute this instead.

Regarding the issue with your text, does switching the font of your course to Arial or a similar built-in font help?

Hi Neomi,

Part of the reason why the text is not clickable in a Storyline 360 course is to protect the content from being copied without permission. I'd recommend creating a Feature Request to our product team if you'd like to see changes to how Storyline 360 handles published text in future releases. For your reference, here is how we handle feature requests
