It sounds like you need to track student_response data, which is how learners answer any question type—drag-and-drop included. Storyline can report the data, but it's up to Moodle to determine how it gets reported back to you. Here's all the quiz data Storyline sends to an LMS! To see the communication or to give your Moodle team more insight, you could enable LMS debug mode. Let me know if that helps!

It sounds like you need to track student_response data, which is how learners answer any question type—drag-and-drop included.
