Ad-hoc Submit button not showing feedback layers and trigger not editable

Jun 13, 2023

Using Graded Questions, all 11 types, I have disabled the Player's Submit function from all slides in this scene (Knowledge Check) and designed an ad-hoc Submit Button on the base layer, with two feedback layers that shows other elements (text and graphical) and have a also Continue Button. All was working fine, till, on copying the text/graphic (deleting original feedback layers that come standard with Graded Questions) to all the slides (in this example attached I left one for simplicity) in this scene, two things happen. One, clicking on the Submit Botton is not bringing up the new feedback layers. Two, it is impossible to edit the trigger, that for some reason seems disabled. I cannot see what is wrong and I am going mad. Tried to do it all over but same effect. Can someone see what I do not see? Thanks in advance for any clue. Cheers. Andy

You do not need to create new layers.  Use the built in Correct and Incorrect layers.  Apply the "Blank" feedback master and then delete all the items in the timeline.

Then you can copy what is on your new layers and paste them to their corresponding built in layer.
