Adding a logo in the player top bar

May 06, 2017

Hi All,

I was looking for a solution for adding a Logo to the Player top bar or bottom bar and I came across this link and here is the grab of the relevant content from the link which displayed a logo in the top bar:

I was not able to find a description on how to add this logo to top bar using the Slide master.

As far as I under stand that there is an error in the image above and the logo should have been displayed in the White content area rather then the Gray Player area as the heading suggests. Please can anyone suggest me if my understanding is correct or we can add a logo to the Player top bar? If we can add a logo in the player top bar, please could the process be explained?

Note: Our requirement is to add the logo in the Flash version of the published content.

Kind regards

Hi Alyssa,

Many thanks for the hard work you did to explain this to me. Indeed this is very helpful. It is clear to me now.

But unfortunately this doesn't solve my problem as I have to add a logo to a pre-built eLearning and I was hoping to find an option so that I don't have to work in each slide to adjust the content to make way for the logo.

Thanks

Kind regards,

Hi, W T! Thanks for clarifying. The logo will always appear at the top of the sidebar, but it sounds like you'd prefer to have it sitting in the player above the slide, in the top left corner. Is that right?

Since there isn't a way to move the logo in the player, I'd recommend adding the logo to the slide itself. Inserting it on the Slide Master will ensure it appears on every slide.

Hello Liz,

There have not been any updates on this topic.

I wanted to share some information about how we manage these feature requests as that may be helpful.

You can add it to the left sidebar of your player or to your Slide Master. I encourage you to share your idea and how you would like to use it by submitting your request to our team here.
