I am trying to add in you tube videos. I am clicking in Video from website and adding in the embedded code but I always get the error message " a video cannot be inserted from this embed code. Verify that the embed code is correct and then try again"
This happens with every website video. Any ideas anyone ?
Hello ! Thanks for the reply Nick. Sadly that's exactly what I am doing ... I have however managed to get it to work using the article that Leslie sent through where you add it through an embedded web object.
Not sure what the issue was with inserting it directly from the website but thank you both for your assistance.
I am having trouble with this clip again. It just doesn't want to work either way I try. Are you able to show me your example again ? The video can be found at
Thanks Emily. I am not sure what I am doing wrong but I can see it works for you. I might try it on another PC and see how it goes. Strange ! Thank you for proving it works !!

Hi Lexy,
Are you using the embedded code on the video site (i.e. Youtube)? You can't use the web url for the code.
If you are using YouTube, select the share option and choose 'embed'. Copy this code into the 'insert video from website option' in Storyline.
See picture example.

Hm, this works for me. I used the embed code and uploaded it to my server. See here: http://dev.keypointlearn.com/xcl73_SL2/TED/V1/story.html
Thanks for the update Lexy.

Hello Lexy,
I was able to insert this video from the embed code directly from youtube.
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/yesS4228FvM" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Attached is a file for reference.
