Adding JavaScript to storyline

Feb 21, 2017

I am creating training for typing notes (entering into a system) while on a phone call, so the caller can receive a receipt number before the call is finalised.

I am using Storyline 360.  I have created most of it BUT have been unable to work out the Java Script I would need to make a comparison of two pieces of text.

The text on one side is what is said on the phone.  The other side is what the participant types when listening to the recording.

I have seen one similar on a website.

But I don’t need Accuracy, Words Typed, Score (per minute) or Time Taken.  I need the differential. I would like it to highlight the words that are correct in text from the phone calls side.

I can see the Java script from the Inspect option when you right click, but not sure which I need to use.

Can you point me in the right direction.

Thank You. Have a colleague that can write some JavaScript but does not know how to have it execute in Storyline 360. These two articles many help us work it out. I am doing the storyline 360 training with Matt in Brisbane over the next few days. Will see my colleague when I get back to work. If he has any question can we ask you?
