All the options under Insert tab are disabled Mar 29, 2019 By kalyani r I'm little new to articulate software, I'm using Story line I have a MP4 file needs to edit few slides in the video cannot see any option to import MP4 video file cannot add any video from Insert Tab because all the options are greyed out as shown in the attachment. Please help

Welcome to Articulate. 💙 The most common reason for those options to be grayed out is if you are in Story View, which gives you a high-level look at all of the slides in your course. Double-click your first slide to open it in Slide View, and start building! Let me know if that's not quite right.

Alyssa Gomez Staff 5 years ago04/02/19 at 2:23 pm (UTC) Hi Kalyani, It sounds like you want to insert a new slide in the middle of a video. Here's an easy way to do that! Duplicate the video slide – now you'll have 2 slides with the same video on it. On the first slide, trim off the second half of the video. On the second slide, trim off the first half of the video. Between the first and second slide, add a new slide. Let me know if that's what you had in mind!
