the emulators above are not really emulators per se. Your best bet to help you with your iPad testing is using the actual iOS SDK. This however is only feasible on a mac. If you don't have access to a mac, you can use BrowserStack (they actually use the same SDK) which is subscription based.
Unfortunately BrowserStack does not let trial members run mobile simulations anymore (it worked for me until yesterday, but now it seems it's a 'subscribers only' option).
Dunno if anyone still struggling with this one. The best I can come up with is use Virtual Box and with a copy of MacOS 10.6 or higher and then put IOS SDK (Xcode) on it and use macs own emulator.
Amazingly, 5 years later, Browserstack and xCode still remain (IMHO) the best options for remote and local testing respectively. Other tools such as https://crossbrowsertesting.com/ might be worth a look, if you're looking for a remote alternative.

Here's a few they can try, but as mentioned, none offer true emulation.

http://alexw.me/ipad2/ - pretty good online emulator
iPadian (desktop emulator) -

Thanks, we'll give them a try.

Bumping this thread. Is there anything new out there for emulating the ipad?

Thank you very much Alexandros.
