You need to buy a license and install a Virtual Machine, Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Word. All this is Low Value Work, clunky, slow and somewhat expensive. And our IT Department does not want to support a VM on a Mac. Am I the only one in this situation?

You are not alone. This has been asked by myself and others since version 1. Don't think it will ever happen in my lifetime.
