Hi Robyn,

Do you want the screen recording to fill the entire slide area? If so, you'll want to set the dimensions of the recording area  to be the same dimensions as the slide size.

Let me know if that's what you were looking for, or if you had something else in mind!

Hello yes I want to recording to fill the entire slide, right now it is in
the middle area.

Set your recording dimensions to be the same size, and let me know if that solves it. 🙂

Ok I set the recording to match my screen size (720 X 540) and it still
shows in the middle of the slide:

Hm, that's odd. Are you on the most recent update of Storyline 360? You can check by clicking the Help tab, then About Storyline.

Do you notice the same thing happens in any Storyline 360 file, or just this one in particular?

Yes I am on the current version and I tried on another file...same. Have
you been able to get this to work? May I see a sample file to compare
settings?

Thanks for sending over your file! I can see the problem now. You'll want to change the screen recording dimensions to 720x540. Give that a try, and let me know if it makes a difference!

Ok I was able to set this up. however I need to see the whole screen in my
display not just part of it.... I tried to match the display options to
the recorded options and that sis not work unless I did it wrong. when I
go to record the screen the dimension are: 1262 X 572

It sounds like you're trying to record your entire monitor, is that correct?

If you decide to use 1262x572 for your screen recording dimensions, you'll want to also change your slide size to 1262x572. Here's how:

• Click the Design tab
• Click Story Size
• Change the dimensions to 1262x572. Be sure to uncheck Lock aspect ratio
• Select Scale to Fit
• Click OK

Next, re-insert your screen recording try-mode steps into a new scene. Now the screen recording will perfectly fit the dimensions of your slide.
