Articulate engage interaction do not fit in d player after publish
Nov 23, 2012
Hi,
I have been working on a project using Articulate Storyline. The project is based on e-learning modules. With the help of storyline we make training content for the new hires.
Everything was working perfectly for the first one month. In our project we have normal slides with text, images, storyline characters and voice overs (Audio file). We also insert "Articulate Engage" interaction slides in our project.
Today, I completed one of the project and published it using the below steps same as my other projects.
Clicked on Publish > LMS > Typed in the required title in the "Title" field > Provided desired path in the "Folder" field > checkmarked the box in front of "Include HTML5 output" under "Publishing for HTML5 and mobile devices" > Under Output options selected "SCORM 1.2" > Clicked on Publish
After publishing, I found issues with all the Articulate engage interactions slides. The Articulate engage interaction slides were blank. It gave a white screen.
Tried another system and I found that the Articulate engage interaction slide were working however the slide do not fit in the player. The slide size was bigger then the player size.
Need your help!

how are you viewing the course, in html5 or ipad the engage slide will not be visible because they are flash
Thank you for your quick response Phil.
Please find below more details on this issue.
My project developed in Storyline consists of text, images, storyline characters and voice overs (Audio file).
We insert "Articulate Engage" interaction slides in our project for trainee interactivity and at the end of the module we insert a "Articulate quiz" after the module is completed for knowledge check.
Once the module is completed we perform the below steps to publish the module.
Now the folder created is zipped and shared with all the trainees using a "share drive". Trainees then download and save this zip file to a windows XP computer from the share drive path shared with them. They extract the folder. Then double click on the extracted folder. They play the file using the .html option in it.
In our line of work we basically play these files on windows XP computer. Please let me know if you want more details on this.
why publish to scorm and then play locally? There is no advantage gained doing this.
You would be better off publishing to CD and using the exe file to load the course
This scorm format is required to upload it to internal webpage. The modules created in the same format in the first month were without any issues.
Now after publishing the module, I found issues with all the Articulate engage interactions slides. I found that the Articulate engage interaction slide were working however the slide do not fit in the player.
