Articulate Products used by the Federal Government

Jan 18, 2017

I'm curious about your products and wonder if Articulate Storyline has ever successfully been used by the Federal Government to create LMS trainings.  I'm primarily interested in how accessible and section 508 compliant courses made with Storyline are.

Does anyone have any examples of courses currently being used by the Federal Government?

Thanks,

d

I have used SL to create quite a few courses for federal government agencies and I find the 508 accessibility tools to be adequate. There are definitely some frustrating hiccups, but SL does give quite a bit of control over the screen reader/alt text/accessibility tools.

I can't show you the courses I've made, as they're not public, but the 508 testers I work with have been mostly happy with what I've done, and any of their issues have stemmed from my own ignorance of 508 guidelines and not the software.

What type of course are you considering? I feel like I have definitely pushed SL to its limits at times.
