Asset list and batch processing

Hey all,
After working with SL2 exclusively for a while I can say that it's very enjoyable to work with. There are a few (almost) detrimental behaviors (especially for people like me who are designers/programmers crossovers) that if changed, will make SL a dream workhorse:
-
Asset list view / links - instead of embedding external files (images, audio etc.) managing an asset links list will be a much more fluid system to manage, update, and track assets within a large project. It will also maintain a smaller project file size, which would be great for tracking revisions.
- Ability to batch process images - think of custom buttons that we want to change the design of without chasing hundreds of instances throughout a project...
- Easy asset swap without even going through numerous slides/triggers.
-
Slide timeline anchor - right now, if I want to view how a slide looks like at a certain point in the timeline, I am forced to play it through. It really becomes a pain when there is a complex slide with timings that need to be refined. We are constantly having to play the slide and remember what we want to do when the timeline stops.
- Allowing the playhead to sync with the timeline reflecting how it actually looks at that given time will speed things up tremendously.
Thanks,
Eitan

Master slides, the blue playhead arrow on the timeline and cue points help me with quite a bit of your list. That, and shortcut keys described in these forums. Speaking as a fellow programmer/designer
Please do share some of your favorite keyboard shortcuts :)
Hey Eitan!
Wanted to pop in here and share this list of Storyline 2 keyboard shortcuts. You can also Create your own keyboard shortcuts by adding features you use frequently to the Quick Access Toolbar. Just right-click the button for any Storyline feature, then select Add to Quick Access Toolbar.
To launch any of the buttons on the Quick Access Toolbar via a keyboard shortcut, press and hold the Alt key on your keyboard and press the number key that matches the button you want to launch. For example, the first button on the Quick Access Toolbar is "1," the second button is "2," etc.
