Audio in Drag and Drop Interaction
Mar 27, 2014
I have built a drag and drop interaction where there are 21 different text boxes to be dragged into 3 columns. The 21 items are set to be revealed one at a time. My question is this.
How can i trigger a different audio file to play as each item is revealed?
eg) after dragging and dropping the first item the second is revealed. This triggers the playing of a short audio file linked to item no.2. The same will occur for all 21 items.
If the items were going from hidden --> normal i would know how to do this, but it seems that these objects do not start as 'hidden' before they are each revealed. I therefore do not know how to trigger the audio files to play.
Many thanks for your assistance.

You could try using triggers that play audio files whenever items are dropped on a target. See screenshot below for an example.
Thanks for the quick response. That's an interesting idea. Can it be used to play audio as an item appears on the slide, or only as an item is dropped on a target?
