I'm playing around with some ideas here and I remember in Engage, when working with the "interactive screenshot" style interaction, the "Introduction" label opened automatically when the slide timeline started.
Trying to replicate this in Storyline I can't find a way to get that first marker to open automatically.
I just stumbled on the solution to this issue by accident. I had a marker that was opening automatically and I didn't want that. I'm posting the solution here and in a few other identical threads in case anyone still needs it. If the marker is the first object in the focus order for a slide or slide layer, it opens automatically.
I noticed that it won't trigger automatically if it is grouped with other objects as well - even if the group is the first object in the focus order, and the marker is the first item in that group.

unfortunately, markers cannot be triggered open, you could create something that looks like a marker to do this but it is a bit of a kludge
I did a bit of searching and found that this is the case.
Never mind, necessity is the mother of invention - I found another way around what I wanted to achieve!
Any Update?
Wow, Sergio! You found quite an old discussion.
I don't believe this feature has been added to Storyline yet, and to be honest I haven't seen a lot of requests for it.
Perhaps you can share a bit more about your setup and folks in the community can offer some alternative ideas!

Thanks Ryan, I was pulling my hair out.

Lifesaver Ryan, thank you for posting that here!
