autosizing the background behind the scorm.

Apr 23, 2014

Hi Guys,

For the last two months I started working with Storyline. I like it a lot and tackled most of the issues I came across. However, can anybody help me with the last two remaining issues:

- I've added a background behind the scorm by adding a <body background=""> to the story.html code. This background now needs to scale to screen sizes to make it look good. Is there a specific line of code available to make this happen?

- Somehow there is a margin of about 10 px around the scorm file and I see a grey 1px border around the scorm. Is there a way to get rid of this margin and border?

I hope someone has tackled these issues earlier and likes to share the solution.

Thanks in advance!

Kindest regards,

Bram

Hi Bram,

I can't assist with the edits to the story.html code, but if you're seeing some additional padding around your Storyline slides, you may want to look at the player elements you've included as they can add extra pixels to the overall size. There is a detailed description of how many pixels are added here based on which elements you've used.

Hi Ashley,

Thank you for your reaction. It is clear that the player is adding 10px all around. Could you please tell me how to get rid of this margin? It does not comply with the designs for the training and because of that it doesn't fit nicely in the frame and we get scrollers.

Thanks in advance!

Kind regards,

Bram
