The background color looks as I want it to in slide view. However, when I preview the slide, it comes out darker a couple of shades. How can I fix this?
Thanks for the screenshots--that's certainly odd! Would you be able to share your file with me, or even just the one slide, so I can take a closer look? Also, what version of Storyline are you using?
You've made your actual slide background 60% transparent in Normal View, so the color that's showing through is the player's slide background.
Instead of applying the image as the slide background, insert the image directly on the Slide Master. Then, right-click the image and select Format. Adjust the transparency to 60%, and you'll have the same effect!
