Background Playlist - Playback Volume Adjustment

Hello,
I'm not sure if this is possible via JavaScript, but I have done some searching for it with no luck.
Is there a way to adjust the overall playback volume for background music that is playing via the background playlist?
I know that the user can adjust the volume manually via the player volume adjustment button, but they would have to turn back up to hear the voiceover whenever there's narration. There's also the setting to lower the background audio when slide audio plays, which is great, but I'm looking for a way to adjust the volume on a slide where there's not slide audio.
The only current option to achieve this is to run the music through one of the various audio editing applications such as Audition, Camtasia, Premiere, etc. to turn the volume down and republish an entire new version of the clip that's not as loud.
It would be great if there was an option on the attached screen where the user could select the playback volume percentage, similar to how they can choose to decrease by a percentage when slide audio plays.

I've experienced this issue too. It would be great to be able to reduce the overall volume of the playlist without the learner having to reduce it in the player.
You are not alone - I have run into this issue as well. The ability to adjust the volume would be beneficial.
I've found an option to turn it off on individual slides but it would be awesome to have an option to lower it during narration, keeping it running at a low volume.

I'm happy to share that we have a feature request logged which will allow authors to Set Default Background Audio Volume for Entire Project.

Was this ever resolved? I am experiencing the same issue. I would like to have background audio running consistently at a low volume throughout, whether or not there is additional audio/narration.
I see where to adjust the volume lower during narration, but the yo-yo is wildly distracting!!!
