Hey Heroes,
I hope you can help. I have a base slide with 4 layers on top of it. I also have 4 hot-spots with triggers to show the assigned layers. The triggers work, but when clicked, Storyline goes back to the base layer and the hot-spot needs to be reclicked to open the desired layer.
I want the program to move smoothly between the layers--without going back to the base layer in between. How can I do this? Any ideas?
Thanks much--Dale Osborn

Sounds like extra triggers at work. If you can attach your .story file, someone on the forum may be able to take a look at it and help you.
Hi Dale!
You are welcome to share your .story file as Walt mentioned here. It is hard to understand what may be going on based on the description alone.
There is an 'Add Attachment' option in the bottom left of the reply window.
Thanks--
A sample of the slide in question is attached. Any help would be appreciated.

When you add an attachment via email, it doesn't attach here. You have to come to the forum, and use the ADD ATTACHMENT button.
Thanks, Leslie. The slide in question is attached. I appreciate the help,

I think the problem is that the hotspots don't appear until 10 seconds after each layer opens. When I moved them to the beginning of the timeline, it seems to work fine.
Each layer has its own timeline that starts when the layer opens.

Outstanding!!! That did the trick. Thanks so much for helping this Storyline newbie out! And such a simple fix.
Sincerely, Dale
So glad that Walt was able to assist you here Dale. Thanks for popping back in with an update and for letting us know that worked for you as well.
