Best format for importing audio files

Hi, I can't seem to find a current support thread that discusses this issue. Several years ago, when I got sound files from a recording studio I would ask for WAV 16 bit, 44.1 kHz, PCM files, as that was recommended by Articulate.

Since then, Articulate has made it possible to have mp3 files not get compressed.

However, I'd still rather import WAV and set the audio compression when I publish Storyline, as I don't want to have to set each and every audio file to Compression "None."

Before I create my audio files I wanted to reach out to other users and Articulate staff for the definitive answer in 2023. Is it still best to import WAV 16 bit, 44.1 kHz, PCM files? Or should I be importing mp3 files?
