Blurry Picture as slider button
Apr 23, 2015
I have several slider buttons that I've turned into pictures. The pictures contain text and are blurry when I publish them, but fine on preview. Any ideas how to fix this so the slider buttons are not blurry? Full disclosure: I've been creating a resume using Articulate as a way to showcase some of what I can do and learn the program better, this is not an ad for me on this forum (just a familiar topic to play with). Here's the example (in the work history section): https://2f14f639edb369887b343b872c001233d788a13f.googledrive.com/host/0BwImWX0_Onb6fmM0V1YyT2pSLUdSeUVIdzZKaF80NEw1bjREc25rb3U3VEVManAwREVuajQ/Virtual%20Resume/Bellotti%20Resume%20-%20Storyline%20output/
Any help is appreciated.
Thank you.
John

I would try changing the Image quality settings, as described here, under Step 4.
Hi John,
Really cool example - I hadn't seen a "resume" set up with Storyline yet, but I like what you've done. I'd agree with Michael's thoughts here and you'll also want to make sure you're inserting a high quality image to start with, as there is a certain amount of compression conducted during the publish process.
Thanks a bunch Michael and Ashley! I changed the image qualities and that did the trick. I almost missed the properties piece because it looks more informational than allowing me the ability to change properties. It looks like this now if you're curious. Thanks again! https://2f14f639edb369887b343b872c001233d788a13f.googledrive.com/host/0BwImWX0_Onb6fmM0V1YyT2pSLUdSeUVIdzZKaF80NEw1bjREc25rb3U3VEVManAwREVuajQ/Bellotti%20Resume%20-%20Storyline%20output/story_html5.html

Thanks John for that update and I'm glad you were able to get it working.

Yep, the text now looks a lot cripser :-)
