Currently, we don't have a way to run a scan for broken links in a Storyline course. This sounds like a thoughtful Feature Request, so I'm going to share it with our team on your behalf!
For now, check out this guide on working with hyperlinks and this checklist that will hopefully make the maintenance of your courses run more smoothly. I also found this third-party tool that checks for brokenlinks: https://www.brokenlinkcheck.com/
Does anyone else have suggestions about how they keep content up-to-date and functioning as expected?
I have this same question. I understand there isn't a method in Storyline to check for broken links, but can Storyline HTML5 output be scanned for broken links? Do third-party scanning tools find broken links in published content? I have only tried deadlinkchecker.com and it doesn't appear to move through the slides of the output to find links to test. Maybe others do? Any other ideas for testing for dead links in a published product -- other than manually? Thanks!
